FrontierVille – Blasted Internet Tips and Hints

Blasted internet just went out on me!  A great game just got better, please refresh to continue……  These two phrases drive us so crazy that we want to strangle Frontier Jack.

So lets see how we can try to avoid this annoying popup.

Tip 1

On the lower left of your browser, you will see a loading address of files your browser is loading. Do NOT make any in-game actions while this processes.

Tip 2

Clearing your cache makes your system run faster and smoother. It also removes out dated game elements at your PC  that could cause issues .

For Internet Explorer:

  • Launch Internet Explorer.
  • Select ToolsInternet Options.
  • Click Delete in the Browsing History section.
  • Click Delete.
  • Close Internet Explorer and re-launch.

For Firefox:

  • Launch Firefox.
  • Select ToolsClear Recent History.
  • In the Clear Recent History pop-up, select “everything” from the “time range to clear” menu.
  • Click Clear Now.
  • Close Firefox and re-launch.

For Google Chrome:

  • Click the Tools menu (the wrench in the upper-right corner).
  • Click Clear browsing data.
  • Check the boxes for the types of information you wish to delete.
    * Clear browsing history
    * Clear download history
    * Empty the cache
    * Delete cookies
    * Clear saved passwords
  • Click Clear Browsing Data.
  • Close and re-launch.

For Safari:

  • From the Safari menu, click Empty Cache.
  • When asked,  “Are you sure you want to empty the cache?”, click Empty.
  • From the Safari menu, click Preferences.
  • From the Security dialog box, click Bookmarks.
  • Click Show Cookies.
  • From the Cookie dialog box, click Remove All.
  • Click Done.

For Opera 9.x:

  • Select ToolsPreferences.
  • Select the Advanced tab.
  • Click History.
  • In the Disk cache section, click Empty Now.
  • Click OK to close Preferences.

Once you performed the actions for your browser, close your browser and restart it !

Tip 3

Issues can also happen if the users Adobe Flash Player is out-dated or when the users computer is attempting to load a cached copy of the application that is out of date. This issue may be resolved by updating the Flash Player. (re-install).
